Sentinel Steel
Sentinel Steel is a twelve member, high energy, traditional steel drum percussion ensemble. The group was formed in 2007 and has quickly grown in popularity.
Sentinel Steel is composed of elite upperclassmen who must maintain their membership in the Fort Hill band, choir or the orchestra programs to be a member.
Sentinel Steel uses choreography, singing and audience participation to produce a very entertaining program.
The group rehearses daily preparing over 35 pieces including traditional pieces from Trinidad and Tobago, popular pieces and jazz pieces.
The group is under the direction of Joseph Thompson.
