Visual Ensembles
Color Guard
The Fort Hill High School Color Guard meets both during and after school. The Color Guard is part of the marching band program, performing at all marching band events. The Color Guard begins in the spring with auditions at Fort Hill. The Guard meets in the late summer preparing routines for the marching band show. The ensemble also spends its time preparing for several other events including competitions, pep-rallies and basketball games.
The Color Guard is under the direction of Matt Stoops.
Indoor Guard
The indoor guard program at Fort Hill begins in late November and competes through April at TIA, KIDA, and WGI events
Sentinelettes
The Sentinelettes are a dance driven team that meets both during and after school. The Sentinelettes begin in the spring with auditions at Fort Hill. The
Sentinelettes are an integral part of the marching band program, for parades, football games and other “full band” performances. The Sentinelettes also prepare for several other events including competitions, pep-rallies and basketball games.
The Sentinelettes are under the direction of Becca Alkire.
